My Action Figures Part 2
WCW (Toybiz) & WWF (Jakks)

Mankind - Breakdown Series
Well Mick Foley sure comes prepared with plenty of weaponry. Firstly there is a rubber tyre, which is very detailed and makes a good weapon, another bonus is that Foley's mask is removable rather than just painted on. Happily the mask also fits on his face very well and can be taken off easily but at the same time won't fall off by accident. Lastly the pack also includes the legendary Mr Socko, but one rather large problem effects this accessory, it doesn't fit on Foley's hand very well at all. I had a hell of a job trying to get it to fit onto either hand, which makes it kind of useless.
I'm happy to report that in with all these accessories is a good figure. It's very detailed and has a great likeness to Mick Foley, right down to his missing teeth. Sadly because of the long white shirt the figure's legs can barely be moved which ruins the figure's ability to pull of many wrestling moves.
Overall this figure is a very good effort by Jakks but the lack of mobility in the legs ruins it slightly.

Goldust - Breakdown Series
Why the hell should I buy a Goldust figure you may well ask, well because it's actually a good figure that's why. Yes, even though the Goldust character might me long dead this is still a good final figure. For once I think I'll list the negatives first.

The face could be a better likeness of Goldust and I wish the figure came with his wig.
Apart from these faults it's difficult to criticise this figure. It’s a very detailed and generally solid figure, no loose limb problems here. It’s also been very well painted. It comes with a cool gold robe and a door, yes that’s right a door! I’m not sure what the door is included for after all what would you use it for?

Getting back to the figure I heartily recommend it, even if you don't like Goldust surely it beats yet another variation of Steve Austin?

Disco Inferno - Bruisers Series

With:
Disco Display Base
Disco Dance Action
Leg Attack Action

This is easily the funniest figure I own. The Disco Dancing action is simply hilarious, what ever you do don't try and take this figure seriously. Place Disco on the stand and you can make his legs kick up in the air like a maniac (combine this with the dance action and things go completely insane!!).
For pure fun factor this figure would score a 10 easy, however their are other factors to consider. I'm happy to say like all Toybiz figures there are no lose limbs to worry about, unfortunately this figure does suffer from one rather annoying problem - it's smaller than all the other figures I have. Even Buff Bagwell towers over it and really both should be about the same height.
Still this is the one and only real fault I can find and this figure is excellent and totally recommended.

X-Pac - Breakdown Series
Well even though I hate X-Pac with a fiery passion, I have to admit this is still quite a good figure. It's nicely detailed and the body mould makes him look just right, in other words small and skinny. The face is detailed and although I'm not too keen on the painted on shades it still holds a very good likeness to Sean Waltman. I would prefer the figure to have wrestling gear on but the jeans and DX T-shirt still look quite nice.
The best thing about this figure though is the absolutely ace TV monitor, which comes with it. The screen is made of soft rubber and you can actually hit another figure over the head with it and have their entire head disappear into the TV - well cool!

The worst thing about this figure has to be amount of times it’s been released. At the end of the day this is just another repaint of a figure, which has been released loads of times before.
I have to say that the TV makes this a must buy as far as I'm concerned and even if you hate X-Punk this figure is still well worth buying for the accessory alone.
Ratings: X-Pac 6, TV 10!
Jacqueline - Signature Series 3

With:
WWF Display Base

May as well get the bad news out of the way right now this figure sucks. Why you may well ask, well their are numerous reasons but in the end it all boils down to the fact that the whole figure just looks weird and unrealistic. The body is totally out of proportion, Jakki has a very thin waste and a HUGE chest!! She looks like a crappy Barbie doll. Anyone who's seen the real Jacqueline will know that she is quite muscular and well built - not some skinny freak. Everything about this figure just looks wrong and is an insult to women. Which moron at Jakks Pacific thinks women are shaped like this??
Well I think you get the picture this figure is a big disappointment and because of it's lack of success Jakks will probably not make any more female figures, which is a shame.

The Rock & Owen Hart - 2 Tuff 3 Series

With:
WWF Display Bases

Well this double pack should be absolutely great but strangely I merely found it good but flawed. My main complaint about this double pack is that Owen's legs are REALLY loose, so much so it makes it hard to stand him upright. Take my word for it this is very annoying and ruins what should have been a very cool double pack.
Having said that this double pack is still well worth getting. The Rock figure is great and far better than some of his more recent figures which don't look at all like him. His face is especially good because it doesn't have those stupid painted on shades and his eye brow comes ready raised. I'm also glad that he has his wrestling gear on and not some poncy designer suit.
Also the Owen Hart figure is great apart from the leg problems. It has a good likeness to Owen and is epecially valuable to me since there will be no more Owen figures due to his tragic death.
So although this pack is not perfect I still highly recommend it.

Buff Bagwell - Powerslam Series

With:
Training Dummy
Top Hat
In built hat missile

Is Buff really the stuff?
Well yes he bloody well is, at least this figure of him is. The actual figure it self is amazingly detailed and extremely life like. The detail on the face is great and makes the new real scan technology seem ... well pointless really. Another plus point regarding the figure is the body which is very buff just like Buff himself!! It has a totally ripped physique and it's also nice that he has his wrestling costume on, although it's a shame the figure doesn't include his overalls.
The figures action is pretty much useless (twist the body to perform a sort of punching action), thankfully this action doesn't in anyway ruin the figure.
What about the accessories then?
Well sadly they aren't so good. The Dummy which comes with it is crap, it doesn't even stay together and is merely a waste of plastic. Maybe I'll glue the joints together and use it as a squash boy or timekeeper. On the other hand the top hat is cool and fits on Buff's head really well, shame about the stupid missile which fires from his top hat, although again this is difficult to activate by accident so doesn't hurt the figure's playablity much.
On the whole the figure is excellent but for the dummy and actions.
